Solutions to your Common Clothing Problems
No matter what shape or size you are, no matter what what your style is, no matter your age I think women of all backgrounds can agree that fashion struggles can break an outfit. If you are in a rush and come across a roadblock or a wardrobe malfunction that can kill your mood. Luckily, women all over the world have come across ways to solve these common problems. Our job today is to just reinforce these solutions and to make sure you are never in a fashion pinch again.
Problem #1: Deodorant Marks
These marks especially horrible on dark shirts cannot be avoided no matter how carefully you try to apply your deodorant. Yet the solution is very easy and involves a common item in all women's closets: Pantyhose! Grab a pair of old (or new) pantyhose for that matter as think of them as a sponge as you clear off those nasty white marks.
Problem #2: Loose Strapless Tops
Nothing is worse than being at a party or gala and constantly having to pull up your favorite strapless shirt or dress. I know how much strapless dresses mean and I would not want to change out of one! So there is an easier solution; buy some double-sided body type from your local drugstore or department store and apply some to the chest/breast area on the inside of your dress. Voila! Problem Solved!
Problem #3: Buttons Falling Off
Are your buttons falling off of your favorite jacket? Do you want to keep the jacket but don't know how to save the buttons? That's easy, apply a thin layer of clear, top-coat nail polish to keep the buttons in their place an prevent them from falling next time.
EXTRA TIP: This hack works with holes in nylons, nail polish prevents the hole from getting larger.
Problem #4: Nasty Sweat Stains
Do you profusely sweat? Is your sweat constantly showing through your shirts? This is actually quite an easy fix. Take a very thin maxi-pad and cut it in half. Take the sticky paper off the back then fold it over the armpit line and seam on the inside of your top. The pad will do it's job and absorb the sweat. You can finally invisibly sweat!
Problem #5: Small but Still-There Creases
Have you ever ironed a shirt and left it out for you to wear the next day but when you wake up you still see creases? You are left with small creases as well as a small amount of time to get ready. Well the easiest trick is to quickly heat up a straightener and go over those creases as the straightener will act almost as powerful as an iron. Now you can do your hair and iron your clothes in the same period of time!
Problem #6: Make-up Stains on White Shirts
I know that feeling off doing your make-up perfectly then going to put on your also perfectly coordinated outfit (which includes a white shirt) and getting concealer or foundation on that beautiful shirt. Well stress no more! This can be fixed in less than two minutes; grab your bottle of shaving cream from the shower and apply directly to the stain, work the cream in a circular motion until all is well once again!
Problem #7: Favorite Shoes Giving You Blisters?
Ouch, did your favorite shoes give you blisters? Well to prevent this from happening the next time you wear those beautiful shoes first lubricate your heels with a little bit of deodorant then slip into those sandals. Maybe bring some band-aids just in case!
Problem #8: Lost Earring Backing
Are you in a pinch for time and you can't find your earring backing? This may sound a bit trashy at first glance but the easiest way to fix this problem is to rip the pink eraser part out of the end of a pencil and use it as a substitute to the backing.
Problem #9: Dirty Suede
Before you step out in your dirty and scuffed blue suede shoes why not clean them up first? This hack also involves an eraser! It's as easy as literally grabbing your eraser and erasing the marks off of the suede, they should come right off!
Problem #10: Flippin' Fuzz
Does your clothing ever pill and leave that annoying, clingy fuzz everywhere? Well, lone behold the easiest way to clean this fuzz is once again using a bathroom essential! This time reach for your razor and carefully slide it over the fuzz. The fuzzy balls will dissapear and your favorite article of clothing will look brand new again.
Did you immediately go try any of these hacks? Did they work for you?
