Summer Shoe Trends

I think women worldwide can agree that shoes are everything! Summer brings forth great clothing trends and styles so why not give you my top 10 summer shoe styles to pair with your fabulous summer outfits.



1. 3D Florals 
Executed perfectly by Ted Baker these little plastic friends bring a fun element to any outfit that is great for the beach or pool parties alike.

2. Decorated Slides
Bad Girl Riri brought fur slides in last season but this season upgraded and decorated slides are the new thing. Found in different materials, colors and shapes; slides are here to stay!

3. High Lace-Ups/Gladiators 
Paired amazingly with cute cutoff mini shorts, miniskirts or summer dresses these sandals are 100% a statement piece that every woman should have in her summer wardrobe.

4. Flat Mules 
Mules pair great with ripped denim or tight skirts and are so convenient to slip on when an outfit needs completion. Mules are one of my favorite casual shoes and can often be seen on other blog posts.

5. Flatforms 
A twist on platforms, these are thick sandals with a straight, platform wedge and a variety of straps. These can be worn casually with jeans or even sweatpants or dressed up with a romper or a short mini dress.

6. Espadrilles 
These denim-looking slip-ons add a great vintage yet classy look to any outfit. Best worn during the day, they can blend in or transform any existing ensemble.

7. Birkenstocks 
Although these may not be the most feminine shoes (my mom makes fun of me for wearing them) they are uber comfortable and a very simple shoe determined to make any outfit look put-together and cute. (They do come in some cool colors)

8. Barely-There Lace Sandals
The most minimalistic shoes on the market can sometimes be the cutest, these very basic sandals bring a very summery vibe to any outfit and can best be worn to the beach or for a instagrammable photo shoot.

9. Ankle-Strap Heels
These chunky-heeled,  open-toed shoes look great during the day with light wash denim and during the night with a more fierce look paired with leather skinny pants. These are simple yet chic and scream "Don't mess with me!"

10. Toe-Ring Sandals
Inspired by Birkenstocks these sandals look great in bright colors and patterns ready to be the statement piece of an outfit. These shoes come in a thick-strapped style as well as a thin, barely-there option as well.

As a fashion lover I have come to realize that it is very important for each individual person to dress to their body type and to highlight not hide their features. In this segment I hope to have you screaming "Hallelujah" as you find the clothes that work the best and the clothes you should just flat-out not wear for your body type. So let's talk types...
