2018 Summer Style Trends
We all know how important it is to not only look good but feel good, especially in those hot summer months. Today, I am bringing to you my Top 10 favourite 2018 Summer Style Trends. Some are simple, some are daring, but all are worth trying! So keep on reading!
1. Statement Plaid
Whether these checks are on pants or a dress, they are so stylish! With designers like Victoria Beckham and Balenciaga using plaid on their runway looks, plaid sure is a statement but can be paired perfectly for any occasion, day or night!

2. Bold Colours
Scrap black and white and try bold colours like canary yellow or bright blue this summer! Obviously adding to the summer vibe, wearing bold colours shows off mounds of confidence while still looking as stylish as ever! P.S My favourite bold colour is fire-popping red!

3. Beach Couture
Gucci did a great spread making their models look like they were heading on a hip, palm-beach vacation while still walking the runway this year. Beach couture allows you to step out of your comfort zone in step out of your house in a matching, floral, two-piece set!

4. Sneakers
Dad-sneakers in particular made their big re-boot especially on the runway this year. The return of sneakers ensures us that no matter what we are going through we can still be certain we will look stylish while pulling off a sneaker look!

5. Belt Bags
Belt bags and fanny packs have truly re-surged! Gucci in particular is making it stylish again for us to walk around the beach, pool, on even up a mountain with a little pack dangling from our torso!

6. Loud Logos
A company's best way to brand is to slap their logos quite loudly on anything from bags, to dresses, to shoes but boy are we loving this trend! Balmain, Fendi, and Versace to name a few love using this technique!

7. Vintage Florals
Especially on dresses, vintage florals are a trend we have totally fallen for! Especially in pretty pastel colours, paired with arms or shoulders of ruffles. I don't think we need to say more, these dresses speak for themselves!

8. Plastic Bags
Yes, this is an odd one but I can definitely dig the see-through, plastic bag look. There is something so special about being able to see through those bags and their contents!
9. Trench Coats
Obviously the classic khaki trench coat has never gone out of style bit we thank the designers of this season for bringing them back better than ever! The long, flowy coats are great paired with almost any outfit desired!

10. Monochromatic Power Suits
Whats better than a woman in a power suit? Answer: A woman in a monochromatic power suit! We love the polished, classy look that can be pulled off in almost any colour imaginable!
